We hope you enjoy the Horse Trials and for your own safety and that of the competitors we ask you to observe the following at all times:
– Give way to horses at all times

– Stand clear of all cross country fences and the approaches to them. Observe the Fence Judge at each fence and listen for the judge’s whistle as each horse approaches.

-Dogs are welcome at Camphire as long as they are well behaved, kept on a lead at all times and Owners please clean up any mess.

– Children must be accompanied by an adult.

– Do not use flash photography

– Please do not leave litter behind you. This is a working farm and we do not wish to cause harm to livestock or wildlife.

– Bridle numbers to be worn on horses at all times during the international.


Gates will open at 8.30am each day. Admission tickets can be purchased online (opening May 2019) or on the gate. You will directed to the available car parking by Stewards.

Entrance price is €15 per person – under 16’s go free!

Disabled Parking

Designated Disabled Car Park spaces are available. An official disability car parking badge must be displayed. Please notify at the gate that you have pre arranged disabled parking To register for a disabled parking Call: (086) 078 1312‬ or email Spaces are limited. Advanced booking is advised.

Via Road:

Directions from Waterford – located off the N72. Before Dungarvan turn right off N72 to bypass Dungarvan and follow route to Cappoquin. Exiting Cappoquin turn left at the town bridge.

Directions from N25 near Youghal -before Youghal bridge take a left off the N25.

Directions travelling south on the M8 – Take exit 14 and go into Fermoy town. Cross over the bridge in the town and turn left for Waterford (N72). Follow the N72 to Tallow. Camphire is signposted with Horse Trials signs from Tallow.
